What are the first things that people see from an organization?

I asked myself this question when starting my position at SNAP Financial Access and my answer to this was our promotional/information flyers.

Looking at our flyers, I knew it was time for an update, my goal when designing the “Business Center” flyers was to 1) use graphics to illustrate the topic of the workshop, 2) for our brand “The Business Center” and “Women’s Business Center” to be prominently placed at the top, 3) to have the course title easily read from a distance and 4) inside of our office we want to use the color coding to coordinate classes to our “Business Success” wheel as seen on the “Get Started” flyer.

On regular 11 x 8.5 paper, the workshop titles “Dreambuilder” and “Get Started” were easily read by people ages 25, 40 and 65 over 20 feet away.
