Servus und Willkommen bei meiner Website! Hello and Welcome to my Website!
Hello! Allow me to introduce myself! My name is Harry and this is my professional website for all things marketing and public policy related. Here are some quick details about myself.
– I completed my Master of Public Policy, at the Willy Brandt School of Public Policy in Erfurt, Germany in 2017. I graduated with a German GPA of 1.5, equivalent to a 3.75 in the US GPA system.
– At the Willy Brandt, I specialized in Conflict and Program Management.
– Through my specialization, I have gained extensive experience in both market analyses (stakeholder, push/pull factors and etc) and in policy evaluation analyses.
– I conducted extensive research and performed a contribution analysis on democracy promotion efforts in Georgia and Tunisia by the European Endowment for Democracy (EED) and European Union Instrument for Democracy and Human Right (EIDHR).
My masters defines me in many ways, as it is the culmination of my hard work, and vision for my future. I chose a master in public policy because we need more than ever policymakers trained in an interdisciplinary degree program, whose masters candidates have been working in close contact with various government, international and non-profit agencies/organizations. As a result of this education and training, I have identified my key variables for sound and effective public policies. Sound and effective policymaking is based on clear and equitable communication with key stakeholders and the intended target audience, furthermore, communication is the bridge that builds future relationships and is even more important when we discuss public-private partnerships. In order to help keep this short, feel free to contact me to discuss how marketing is a critical part of the policy process.
So now that I have graduated from my master’s degree, what am I up to now? Well, I could simply tell you but where is the fun in that?
Haha, I won’t keep you waiting! I am currently serving as an AmeriCorps VISTA at SNAP Financial Access (SFA). Here at the SFA, I am serving as the Marketing Manager. I ABSOLUTELY love my job. The non-profit sector and the AmeriCorps VISTA program mean a great deal to me, as the VISTA program has enabled to come back from living abroad and to immediately start giving back to the community I grew up in. While the non-profit sector allows me to work on finding solutions to societal problems. Particularly, my master’s program has imprinted on me a strong desire to be involved in the work relating to economic development and anti-poverty initiatives. Here is something I would like to borrow from SNAP and SNAP Financial Access, as this mission statement and values have inspired me and are my daily motivators. These are also why I love this organization and the work that they do!
